TRACK FOUR:
This track is perhaps the most misunderstood segment of the entire transmission. Several members of our group dismissed it as "just a bass note with some random interference on top." They are no longer part of the team.
The foundational element is a sustained low-frequency tone that does not waver for the ENTIRE duration of the track. We cannot stress enough how significant this is. This is not a drone in the way that human musicians use drones. Our spectral analysis confirms that this tone remains at a PERFECTLY consistent frequency throughout, with no deviation whatsoever. No natural phenomenon produces a tone this stable for this long. This is deliberate. This is controlled. This is TECHNOLOGY!
Layered above this, a highly unstable, inharmonic sound lurches unpredictably through the frequency spectrum. To the untrained ear it sounds random and, frankly, alarming. It is neither. Our algorithms have identified that at several points throughout the track, this sound briefly aligns with the fundamental frequency of the bass tone beneath it. Dr. Wilson believes that these moments are structurally significant, possibly similar to emphasis, cadence, or consonance.
Perhaps most fascinating is the background layer, a shimmering, constantly shifting texture that our analysis suggests is being modulated across MULTIPLE parameters simultaneously. Pitch, spatial positioning, and spectral qualities all appear to be in constant flux, governed by patterns our algorithms have so far been unable to decode. Dr. Harrison has theorized that this layer may represent an environmental element, perhaps a simulation of the Keplerian atmosphere or geological activity, intended to situate the listener within a specific place. If this is true, we are not just hearing music. We are hearing a WORLD!
We urge listeners to use headphones or high quality speakers. Much of this track operates at frequencies that are difficult to perceive on standard equipment. This is EXACTLY what we would expect from a species that perceives sound through full-body vibration rather than eardrums.
